About Us
At Pitch & Degree, we are dedicated to empowering student athletes to pursue their academic and sporting aspirations abroad. Our current program focuses on helping competitive soccer players attend the University of Gloucestershire and play for Gloucester City AFC. We are a Colorado-based company with partnerships in the UK.

Our daughter is currently studying and playing football (soccer) in the UK. Pitch & Degree was created to help others pursue their dreams of studying and playing abroad. We have a particular interest in providing opportunities for women to continue playing competitive soccer in a positive environment that supports mental health and personal development.

The Pitch & Degree Program
Pitch & Degree helps students determine if studying abroad at the University of Gloucestershire is right for them. In addition, Pitch & Degree has a partnership with Gloucester City AFC to allow students to continue playing amateur football (aka soccer) while earning a bachelor's and/or master's degree.

Total Cost Overview
Cost is broken down into two types: University Costs and Football Costs. University costs (e.g. tuition, accommodations, etc.) are paid directly to the university in British pounds. Football program fees are paid in US dollars to Pitch & Degree. Please note the University tuition fees are publicly available on the University website and subject to change. All other university-related costs are estimates.

Note that the University has modest international scholarships that it may award based on academic performance. Scholarships are offered after student accepts the offer to attend the University. Above costs subject to change by the University of Gloucestershire.

Support services during recruiting, university admissions, visa process, and first-year arrival

Ongoing student athlete and family support as needed throughout program

All services provided by Gloucester City AFC:

Three training sessions each week (with exception of holidays or inclement weather)​

Games within the English national football system (minutes based on individual performance)

Two sessions per week with strength and conditioning coach

Access to physiotherapist when needed

All football gear/equipment needed including uniforms (excluding cleats and shin guards)

Transportation to games and evening team training sessions

Livestream and/or recorded games available for families whenever technically feasible
